Garon Wyatt conducts public safety background checks and workplace investigations with over 30 years of experience in Public Safety

Mr. Wyatt is keenly aware of the ongoing need to maintain public trust and the role that thorough independent investigations into allegations of misconduct play in maintaining this trust. Mr. Wyatt has considerable knowledge and training in criminal investigations and workplace investigations. He has accumulated over 200 hours of training in criminal and administrative investigative techniques.

Background Investigations

Mr. Wyatt completed the POST Background Investigators Course in September 2017 and has conducted background investigations for a number of local agencies in Orange County California. GWIS offers the following background services:

POST Sworn and Dispatcher backgrounds for Police Agencies
Limited Scope backgrounds for non-mandated civilian police employees and/or volunteers
Comprehensive backgrounds for Fire Agency employees (Scope determined by Agency)

Workplace Investigations

Mr. Wyatt has conducted several thousand criminal investigations and over two hundred administrative investigations. Mr. Wyatt is approved to conduct investigations through the Employment Risk Management Authority (ERMA) and has extensive experience conducting the following types of administrative investigations:
